Congratulations to the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s Native Learning Center’s very own Dr. Tomasina Chupco Gilliam!
The National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development has selected Dr. Gilliam as a recipient of their prestigious “Native American 40 Under 40” award. This very special award was created ten years ago to acknowledge those emerging Native American, Alaska Native, and First Nation citizens between 18 and 39 years of age who have demonstrated leadership, initiative, and dedication to achieve significant contributions to Native communities throughout North America. The National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development and its Board of Directors is proud to present Dr. Gilliam with this award. She is a true embodiment of what the organization stands for, and a shining example of the economic future and advancement of Indian country.
The awards will be formally presented at the Native American 40 Under 40 and Scholarship Awards Dinner on Saturday, August 24th at the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass in Phoenix, Arizona.
We at the Native Learning Center could not be more proud to see Dr. Tomasina Chupco Gilliam receive this prestigious award. We know what an amazing person she is, and it is great to see NCAIED recognize it also!
