Course Description:

Completing an Indian Housing Plan (IHP) or an Annual Performance Report (APR) as required by the Native American Housing Assistance and Self-Determination Act (NAHSDA) can be overwhelming.

 

This three-day training will simplify the process by presenting a straightforward strategy to develop an effective IHP and a basic system to collect the information necessary to complete an APR.

Upon completion of this training, participants will:

 

• Understand the statutory and regulatory basis for IHP and APR data collection and submission requirements

• Gain insights into best practices for IHP and APR development through peer discussions

• Have the opportunity to apply their classroom learning through case studies, exercises, and the completion of IHP and APR templates

• Have the knowledge and tools necessary to complete an effective Indian Housing Plan (IHP) and Annual Performance Report (APR) for their Tribe or Tribally Designated Housing Entity
