Director of Training and Technical Assistance
Dr. Ilene Miller has worked in education and non-profit programs for 20 years. She began her career as a special education teacher and worked as a liaison to the community for screening and assessment for 10 years. During this time, she honed her skills working on community projects, public awareness, grant development, technical assistance and training. She worked closely with the families and staff at the Seminole Tribe since 2000 and previously worked as a Program Administrator. She is passionate about awareness education and helping individuals make a difference in their community.
Her doctoral dissertation focused on training and development for teachers utilizing technology. She has facilitated over 100 online and face-to-face courses both locally and nationwide. She has her B.S Education (University of South Florida), M.S Counseling (Nova Southeastern University) and earned her Doctorate of Education (Nova Southeastern University) in 2005.
