From Fort Lauderdale International Airport 


Free Hotel Shuttles

Many hotels in the area offer free shuttles from the Airport to the hotel. For more information, contact your hotel. For a comprehensive list of hotels, go to the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention and Visitors Bureau’s web site. Pick up and drop off locations are located in designated areas on the lower level curbside at all the terminals. Look for the sign.

Rental Car Center

The Rental Car Center (RCC) offers 12 rental car companies in one building next to Terminal 1. Rental car customers no longer need to travel off-site to pick up or drop off their cars. To learn more, follow this link.

What Should I Pack?

Business casual to casual is appropriate for all sessions and events at the Native Learning Center. Meeting rooms can be cool, so please plan accordingly and bring a sweater or light jacket. Check the weather forecast as the conference approaches for an accurate forecast.

The Hollywood Trolley

Catch the city trolley for worry-free transportation. The Hollywood Trolley runs between the city’s downtown and beach districts. The trolley operates Wednesday through Sunday and departs every 30 minutes. Passengers ages 6 and up ride for $1 per ride, per person and kids 5 and under ride free.


Hollywood Beach Boardwalk

Hollywood Beach Boardwalk is more than two miles of paved walkways, seven miles of beach, restaurants and family fun. The area offers three oceanfront parks for kids, an organic weekend farmers market and plenty of pit stops to cool off and enjoy a snack or drink.

The Art and Culture Center of Hollywood

The Art and Culture Center of Hollywood include several venues in Hollywood that host nationally recognized and up-and-coming artists in the visual and performing arts. The center is also focused on education programs for the community and for visitors, with high quality and diverse programs. The Art and Culture Center Building is a historic Mediterranean Revival style building constructed in 1924 and was one of the first show place homes in Hollywood.


The Dr. Von D. Mizell-Eula Johnson State Park (Formally John U Lloyd Beach State Park)

The Dr. Von D. Mizell-Eula Johnson State Park offers wide beaches and beautiful aquamarine waters with a variety of activities for the outdoors enthusiast. The area is ideal for shore diving, includes two boat ramps and has easy access to the Port Everglades Inlet for fishing.
